General Évariste Ndayishimiye (born 17 June 1959) is a Burundi politician. He is the President of Burundi since 2020. He became president after the death of President Pierre Nkurunziza. He is also the Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD since 2016.
He was the Minister of the Interior and Public Security from 2006 to 2007.[1]
