The 2021 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination college basketball tournament. There were 68 teams in it. The tournament was for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college basketball. The winner of it was the national champion for the 2020–21 college basketball season. The tournament started on March 18, 2021. It ended on April 5. The championship game was between the Baylor Bears and Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Bears defeated the Bulldogs by 16 points (86–70). This was the first time the Bears won the national championship.
