The 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination college basketball tournament. There were 68 teams in it. The tournament was for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college basketball. The winner of it was the national champion for the 2022–23 college basketball season. The tournament started on March 14, 2023. It ended on April 3. The championship game was between the UConn Huskies and San Diego State Aztecs. The Huskies defeated the Aztecs by 17 points (76–59). This was the fifth time the Huskies won the national championship.
