The 2025 Miami Grand Prix (known for advertising reasons as the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2025) was a Formula One auto race that happened on May 4, 2025, at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida, United States.[3] It was the sixth race of the 2025 Formula One World Championship.[4] It was the second event to have a sprint race, a shorter race that gives drivers fewer points.[5]
Andrea Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes won pole position for the sprint race.[6][7] Lando Norris of McLaren won the sprint race. Oscar Piastri was in 2nd and Lewis Hamilton was 3rd.[8] Verstappen won pole position for the Grand Prix,[9][10] but Piastri won the Grand Prix. Norris was 2nd and George Russell from Mercedes was 3rd.[11] This would be the last race in Formula One for Alpine driver Jack Doohan, with Franco Colapinto taking his job.
