Agence France-Presse (AFP) is a French news agency. It is the oldest one in the world, and also among the largest, with Associated Press and Reuters. It is also the largest French news agency.

The AFP is a global news agency responsible for collecting, verifying, and sharing information in a neutral and factual way. Its content is used by all types of media, including radio, television, newspapers, and websites, and also serves as a source for large companies and public administrations. In 2022, AFP reported a revenue of €321.9 million, supported by video production, digital investigations, and services for companies and institutions.[1]
