Ahmad Shah Durrani (c.1723-1773) (Pashto: احمد شاه دراني), also known as Ahmad Shah Abdali (Pashto: احمد شاه ابدالي) and born as Ahmed Khan, was the founder of the Durrani Empire in 1747.
He united the different Afghan tribes and conquered what is now Afghanistan, Pakistan, eastern Iran and The Punjab in north western India. He is recognized as the Founding Father of the modern state of Afghanistan.
His mausoleum is located in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, adjacent to the mosque where Muhammad the Prophet's sacred cloak is kept as memorabilia. It is not worshiped. Ahmad Shah Abdali had 8 sons 1, Prince Sulaiman, 2 Amir Taimur Shah,

Ali Shah 1818 to 1819 Ayub Shah in 1819 to 1823. Amir Ayub Shah deposed and killed his brother Ali Shah Durrani from the throne and ascended the throne himself. His Son Sardar Allah Yar was transferred/Shifted to North of Afghanistan now known as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Province of Pakistan and with it, the battles for the throne between the grandsons of Ahmad Shah Abdali or Durrani deprived the Durrani family of the throne and crown of Afghanistan.
