Air Bud: Golden Receiver

Air Bud: Golden Retriever is the second Comedy-drama movie of Air Bud and the sequel to Air Bud. It was released on July 31, 1998 film. The film follows over buddy and his relationship with Molly, another golden retriever. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

Plot

After the events Of the first film, Buddy is now skilled in basketball. After finally winning another championship with the baseball, he gets rewarded a trip. There, buddy becomes smitten with a female golden retriever named Molly, who pays no heed to him.

Desperate to win Molly’s love, buddy invites her to come with him on the trip. After they stop nearby to eat, buddy attempts to get some spaghetti from Molly. Unfortunately, he causes chaos in the kitchen, ultimately creating a spaghetti basketball. Josh, upon seeing that buddy loves Molly, gives him a rose to put on Molly for gratitude.

Meanwhile, Morton is accidentally mailed and falls into the truck. He encounters Molly, who tells him she can’t stand buddy. Buddy, frustrated upon hearing this, dump his basketball into a chute. Molly tries to calm him down and reveals that she truly does love him, although she is hiding it. With this, buddy and Molly begin to bond more.

after they reached their destination, but he reveals to Morton the reason why he loves Molly: because she’s beautiful like the rose that Josh gave him. He goes to sleep upon the barn roof, after hearing Molly. Molly later recovers his basketball, only to accidentally awaken the guards. During the chase, she manages to dribble the basketball and hit the guy in the face. She returns it to Buddy and places him next to a comfy place to sleep, gently licking his cheek and nuzzling him.

The next morning, they continue on the trip; Buddy goes to get a special nut from Molly. However, while bonding with a group of basketball pets named the Timberwolves, he accidentally causes a ruckus and destroys the place. A frustrated Morton tells Buddy that he can’t win somebody else’s love all because he only cares about himself. He then explains to him that he wants had to love himself. Buddy refuses to listen to him and encounters a jar of Nutella where he takes in order to give to Molly.

That night, while Josh and Jackie go to play at the arcade with Josh’s best friends family, who are also staying at the hotel, buddy along with the Timberwolves attempts to give it to Molly; however, thanks to a duck, pecking him on the bottom, it causes a sudden reckless in the arcade. when Josh attempts to find out what’s going on, he and his mother get launched into the duck game, though they enjoy it when they get nuzzled by the baby ducklings. After the chaotic night, a frustrated Molly and Buddy begin arguing, with Molly, pointing out to Buddy that he only cares about himself and basketball. She then leaves him, making buddy distressed.

Morton, feeling sorry for buddy, give a peptalk to him and tell him that just because he’s different and accident-prone doesn’t mean that Molly doesn’t love him. But he decides to make it up to Molly, and, along with Morton, and the Timberwolves, they try to catch up to Molly, who is resentfully beginning to leave. They later catch up to Molly at an abandoned broken building and buddy attempts to talk how he feels about her. However, the building is beginning to go to demolished. Josh and Jackie attempt to talk the wrecking ball owners down, however, they refuse. As everyone evacuates the building, Buddy managed to save Molly, however, the place comes crashing down. Buddy is carried out by Jackie, where Molly tearfully reveals, she loves him and sobs. Buddy regain consciousness and reveals that she was his best friend too, before smiling at her, much to her joy.

They finally reached their trip destination, everyone has a fun time and Buddy teaches Molly how to play basketball. As Morton and the Timberwolves and joy, Buddy and Molly throw the ball into the hoop together and share their first kiss.
