Alfred Stieglitz
Alfred Stieglitz (January 1, 1864 – July 13, 1946) was an American photographer and a supporter of modern art. He helped people see photography as an art during his long career. Stieglitz also ran art galleries in New York in the early 1900s, where he showed works by new European artists. He was married to the notable painter Georgia O'Keeffe, who also was his model.
