Alison Rosamund King (born 3 March 1973) is an English actress and model.[1] She is best known for portraying the roles of Lynda Block in the Sky One drama series Dream Team (1998–2003, 2005–2007), and Carla Connor in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2006–present). She won Best Actress at the 2012 British Soap Awards.
King is considered by the press as a British sex symbol.
