Allomorone

Allomorone is an extinct genus of prehistoric bony fish which has not been assigned to any class. Little is known about this fish.

The species

Allomorone includes the following species:

  • Allomorone burlesonis (Dante & Frizzel, 1965) - Texas, Late Eocene
  • Allomorone varians (Polkowsky, 1994) - Germany, Chattian/Late Oligocene
