Anarcho-transhumanism

Anarcho-transhumanism is a political ideology that is the strive towards transhumanism and scientific and technological development within the anarchist school of thought.[2][3] It is the view that social liberty is bound with material liberty, and that freedom is ultimately a matter of expanding our capacity and opportunities to engage with the world around us.[4] Anarcho-transhumanism is anti-capitalist. Anarcho-transhumanism's motif is to expand physical freedom for humanity just as it is sought to expand social freedom defined by responsibility.[5] Some consider anarcho-transhumanism to be the anarchist strive towards immortality, scientific research & development, material analysis, abolition of religion and all metaphysical spiritual strains of thought - instead pushing the anarchist currents and the movement as a whole to devote towards developing the productive forces of society and preventing reactionary ideologies from usurping the anarchist notion of freedom without rulers for their visions.[6]

A key concept within anarcho-transhumanism is morphological freedom.[7]
