Andrea Mitchell (born October 30, 1946)[1] is an American journalist, news reporter and anchor for NBC News. She is the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent. She anchored Andrea Mitchell Reports on the MSNBC Network until after the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. She has served as a guest host on other NBC/MSNBC shows such as Meet the Press and Hardball.[2]Mitchell was raised in a Jewish family.[3]
Mitchell was born in New Rochelle, New York.
