Arcane is an American animated television series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee.[1] The first episode was shown on 6 November 2021. It has 2 seasons with 18 episodes as of 2025. The first season was nominated for five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Animated Program and won four of them. It also won an Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production. The series is about Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell) getting into a fight between Zaun and the city of Piltover. The series' first season was released between 6 and 20 November 2021, and the second season was released between 9 and 23 November 2024.
The series is praised for its very good animations, writing, worldbuilding, and voice acting, even though some people didn't like the first season.[2][3][4]
