Associate degree
An Associate Degree or Associate's degree is an undergraduate degree given after a course of post-secondary study lasting two to three years. It is above a high school diploma and below a bachelor's degree.[1]
The first associate degrees were awarded in the United Kingdom in 1800s before spreading to the United States and Soviet Union in 1900s.:
