The Atari 8-Bit Family are a series of Atari computers from 1979-1992, with a MOS Technology 6502 CPU, with ANTIC, POKEY, CTIA and GTIA, Star Raiders is Atari 8-Bit Family's killer app, 4 million units were sold, the Atari 5200 console is based on 8-Bit Family hardware.
