The BMW M5 is a super high-performance car. It is a variant of the BMW 5 Series. It is marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. It is thought of, as being part of the sports saloon category.[1][2] The car is still being made (as of 2025). The first generation was made from 1984 to 1988.
