Backlash (2009) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on April 26, 2009 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.[1] It was the eleventh Backlash event held by WWE and the last to take place yearly. Backlash was replaced by Extreme Rules in 2010, but returned in 2016.[2]
