Bagalkot
Bagalkot is a city in the northern part of Karnataka, India. It is the main city of Bagalkot district. The city is located near the Ghataprabha River and has a dry climate. Bagalkot is connected by roads and trains to other big cities, making it easy to travel to and from.[1]
Bagalkot is known for its old temples and historical places. Nearby famous sites are the Badami cave temples and Pattadakal, which is a World Heritage Site. Many people in Bagalkot work in farming, growing crops like sugarcane, cotton and pulses. The city is also growing in industries like textiles and manufacturing. [2] [3]
