Balkan Air Force
The Balkan Air Force, was an Allied air formation that was active in the Balkan region (primarily in Yugoslavia). The BAF was composed of the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, and the South African Air Force of the Union of South Africa. it was active from 7 June 1944 until 15 July 1945. The BAF mostly operated over the skies of Yugoslavia, supporting the Yugoslav Partisans led by Josip Broz Tito against Nazi Germany and the other Axis powers in the region. But some times supporting the Resistance movements in Greece and Albania.
