History and Features
The Baojun 630 was developed at the SAIC-GM Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center and was shown at the Auto Shanghai in 2011 and was put on sale in August. The car is the first car from Baojun brand. It said that it uses the Buick Excelle/Daewoo Lacetti plataform even though the cars are visually different.
A Hatchback version called 610 was launched in 2014.[3] The 630 has a 1.5 liter and 1.8 liter petrol engines with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. It was improved in 2015.[4]

It was replaced by the Baojun RC-5 while in 2023 in Egypt it was replaced by the Chevrolet Aveo (which is a Chinese-platform car also made by SAIC-GM-Wuling and sold mainly in Mexico and Some South American countries).
