Barbara Hsu (Chinese: 徐熙媛; pinyin: Xú Xīyuán; 6 October 1976 – 2 February 2025) was a Taiwanese actress, singer, and television host.[1] She was best known for her main role as Shancai in the television series Meteor Garden (2001).
Hsu died on 2 February 2025 while on vacation in Tokyo due to 2025 Japan flu cases from pneumonia caused by influenza at the age of 48.[2][3]
