Battle of the Camel
The Battle of the Camel (also known as Battle of Jamel or the Battle of Basra) is a war that took place outside Basra, now in Iraq, in 36 AH (656 CE). The battle was fought between Ali's army and the rebel army led by Aisha, Talha, and Zubayr.[1][2] Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of the prophet Muhammad, Aisha was a widow of Muhammad, and Talha and Zubayr were fellow companions of Muhammad.
