The Beau Biden Foundation is a non-profit children services organization based in Wilmington, Delaware.[1] It was founded in June 2015 by then-Vice President Joe Biden, a month after the death of his son Beau Biden.[2]
Origins and purpose
The foundation actively works to prevent child abuse. The foundation educates on issues of child protection-signs of abuse & neglect, grooming behaviors, avoiding Internet predators, bullying, cyberbullying and tricks of child traffickers.[3]
The program was designed by the foundation's experts in law, education, and law enforcement to help ensure schools and youth-serving organizations have the best policies, procedures, and programming in place to help protect children from all forms of child abuse and neglect.[3]
