Being Erica is a Canadian comedy drama television series made for CBC Television. It starred Erin Karpluk, Reagan Pasternak, Michael Riley, and Kathleen Laskey. The show ran from January 5, 2009 until December 12, 2011. The series wasn't officially cancelled but creator Jana Sinyor said the show was over.[2]

The show followed 30-year-old Erica Strange as she uses time travel from her therapist Dr. Tom to go back to important times in her life and regrets that she had during it.[3]

Since it's conclusion and success, there have been a few remakes of the show. In 2010, it was announced that American Broadcasting Company was creating a remake of Being Erica with Maggie Friedman working on the series.[4] On December 10, 2020, Allison Williams was announced as the star of an American remake of Being Erica made by Boat Rocker Studios.[5]
