Blenheim (Māori: Waiharakeke) is the most populous town in the Marlborough Region, in the northeast of the South Island of New Zealand. About 30,500 people live there. It is named after the Battle of Blenheim (1704), where troops led by John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough defeated the French and Bavarian soldiers.
