Blue Murder is a Canadian crime drama series made by the Lionsgate Canada for Global. It starred Mimi Kuzyk, Joel S. Keller, Jeremy Ratchford, and Maria del Mar. The show ran from January 10, 2001 until July 9, 2004.[1]
The show is about a team of detectives in the Blue Murder Unit as they try to investigate and solve violent crimes in the city of Toronto.[2]
The series won many Gemini Awards. In 2001, it won Best Guest Actor and Actress in a Drama Series for Nicholas Campbell and Kari Matchett.[3] In 2002, Julia Chantrey won Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series.[4] In 2003, it won for Best Supporting Actress, Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series, and Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Jennie Raymond, Winston Rekert, and Kate Trotter. In 2004, it won Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Nicky Guadagni.
