Bozo: The World's Most Famous Clown is an American animated comedy children's television series. The series is based on the children's record book, Bozo the Clown by Capitol Records.[1] The series was created by Larry Harmon Pictures. It began syndication in 1958.[2] Lou Scheimer, of Filmation fame, was the art director for the series. The voice actors include Larry Harmon as Bozo and Paul Frees as the narrator.
A total of three seasons and 157 five-minute shorts were made. Ewenty were made in September 15, 1958, eighty-five in June 23, 1959 and fifty-two in May 10, 1962.[3]
Summary
The series is about the adventures of Bozo and his adolescent sidekick Butch. It is about their journey to crazy, wild and exciting places.
