Brett Goldstein (born 17 July 1980) is an English actor, comedian, writer, producer, and podcaster. He is known for his role as Roy Kent in the Apple TV+ sports comedy series Ted Lasso. He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for each of the first two seasons. He is also the co-creator of the comedy series Shrinking (2023).
Goldstein was born on 17 July 1980 in the Sutton suburb of London, to a British Jewish family.[1] He was educated at Sevenoaks School.[2] He later went to the University of Warwick.[1]
