Bron is a commune. It is in the Metropolis of Lyon in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in east France. About 42,200 people live there.
Geography
Bron is 10 km (6.2 mi) east of Lyon and is the sixth-largest suburb of the city of Lyon.
Sights
The Fort de Bron, built between 1872 and 1876, is part of the second belt of fortifications around Lyon.
