The COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed to have reached Liechtenstein in early March 2020. With total population of 38,749 (as of 31 December 2019), in 29 March infection rate is 1 case per 472 people.
On 3 March 2020, the first case was reported in the country with a young man who had contact with an infected person in Switzerland.[2]
On 4 April 2020, one person died from the virus in Liechtenstein.[3]
