The cabeza de negro, sincuya, or soncoya (Annona purpurea) is a species of plant in the genus Annona. The name "cabeza de negro" is also applied to the similar species Annona diversifolia. It is often used for fruit and medicine. It is deciduous, and has hairy leaves and large, scented flowers.[1] It can grow up to 6 to 10 metres (20 to 33 feet). It can take 3 years for it to have fruit.
