The Cadillac XT4 is a subcompact Luxury Crossover SUV made by General Motors under Cadillac since 2018.
History and Features
The Cadillac XT4 was first teased by Cadillac during a telecast of the 90th academy awards in March 2018.[3] later it was launched in at the New York Auto Show in the same month.[4] while pre-orders started shortly after its debut.[5] The name means "Crossover Touring 4" and its the second Crossover SUV from the brand being positioned below the Cadillac XT5 and being a luxury equivalent to the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain and its one of Cadillac's models of the XT (Crossover Touring) series.[6]
It has a 2.0 liter turbo gasoline engine and a 2.0 liter diesel engine (availiable in Europe only) all with a 9-speed automatic transmission it was improved in 2023 as a 2024 model.[7]
Markets
The Cadillac XT5 is sold mainly in The North American market but also in China and Europe (where its imported) it was also sold in South Korea.
End of the USA production
The Cadillac XT4 is planned to be discontinued in North America in 2025 without a sucessor however it will still be sold in China.[8]
