Camden County is a county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. In 2020, 10,335 people lived there.[2] Its county seat is the town of Camden. Camden County is the first and only consolidated city-county in North Carolina.
History
The county was made in 1777 from the northeastern part of Pasquotank County.
Government
Camden County is part of the local Albemarle Commission.
