Canterbury men's cricket team

The Canterbury men's cricket team, based at Christchurch in New Zealand, has been active since 1864. The team has first-class status, and has competed in the Plunket Shield since 1907–08.[1] They have won the trophy twenty times, most recently in 2020–21. Their home ground is Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The team is known as the Canterbury Kings in limited overs matches.
