Catherine Lucille Hanaway (born November 8, 1963) is an American attorney, former federal prosecutor and Republican politician who is the Attorney General-designate of Missouri.[1]
Hanaway was the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri from 2005 to 2009. She was the first and only female Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2003 to 2005.[2]
Hanaway unsuccessfully ran for Governor of Missouri in 2016, losing the Republican nomination to Eric Greitens.
