Cemal Gürsel (Turkish: [dʒeˈmaɫ ɟyɾˈsel]; 13 October 1895 – 14 September 1966) was a Turkish army officer. He was the fourth President of Turkey from 1960 until a few months before his death in 1966.
He died from complications of a stroke in Ankara on 14 September 1966 at the age of 70.[1]
