Central Districts men's cricket team

The Central Districts men's cricket team, based at Napier in New Zealand, has been active since 1950. The team has first-class status, and has competed in the Plunket Shield since 1950–51.[1] They have won the trophy eleven times, most recently in 2022–23. Their usual home ground is McLean Park in Napier. Others are Saxton Oval in Nelson, Fitzherbert Park in Palmerston North, and Pukekura Park in New Plymouth. The team is known as the Central Stags in limited overs matches.
