Cerium(III) oxide
Cerium(III) oxide, also called cerium sesquioxide, is a chemical compound made of cerium and oxygen. It has the chemical formula Ce2O3.
Uses
Cerium(III) oxide can react with oxygen in the air to make cerium(IV) oxide. This is used to reuse the cerium(IV) oxide catalyst in catalytic converters.[1]
