Chamba district

Chamba is the northwestern district of Himachal Pradesh state, in north Republic of India, with its headquarters in Chamba town. The towns of Dalhousie and Khajjhiar are popular hill stations and vacation spots for the people from the plains of northern India.

There are many other places to visit in Chamba, such as Kalatop, Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Chamunda Mata Temple, and Jhumaar. Chamba is a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains. It is also famous for its Chamba Chappal and Chamba Thaal, both of which have been awarded the GI (Geographical Indication) tag.[1]
