Charles Mingus Jr. (April 22, 1922 โ January 5, 1979) was an American jazz musician and writer. He helped to create improvisational jazz. People say he is one of the best jazz musicians and music writers to ever live.[1] He played jazz music for over thirty years. He also played with other famous jazz musicians, such as Louis Armstrong, Herbie Hancock and Dizzy Gillespie.
