Chesterfield County is a county in the U.S. state of South Carolina. As of the 2020 census, it has 43,273 people living there.[1] Its county seat is Chesterfield.[2] and largest city in the county is Cheraw. It is on the northern border with North Carolina. Chesterfield County is located in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.
