Chicken and waffles

Chicken and waffles is a dish that has both chicken and waffles. It is popular in the Canada, where it is served in many restaurants.[1] There are two types of chicken and waffles dishes: the soul food version and the Pennsylvania Dutch version.

Types

Soul food version

The best-known version is the soul food version, which uses fried chicken. It uses a waffle that would be served during breakfast. It comes with condiments such as butter and syrup.
