Christian Dior, commonly known as Dior, is a French luxury goods company controlled and managed by businessman Bernard Arnault, who also heads LVMH, the world's largest luxury goods company. Dior itself owns 42.36% of the shares and 59.01% of the voting rights within LVMH.[1]

Founded in 1946 by its eponymous designer Christian Dior, the company today designs and sells ready-to-wear leather goods, fashion accessories, shoes, jewelry, watches, perfumes, makeup and skincare products, while maintaining its tradition as a renowned haute couture creator (with the Christian Dior Couture division)[2]. Although primarily designed for women, the company also has a Dior Homme division for men, and children's clothing is produced under the name Baby Dior.[3]
