Christian Atta Gyan (2 November 1978 – 29 December 2021) was a Ghanaian-Dutch professional footballer. He played as a defender. Gyan played for the Ghana national football team 23 times between 1998 until 2002.
Gyan was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in November 2021.[1] He died from the disease a month later on 29 December 2021 at the age of 43.[2]
