Christine Wormuth (born April 19, 1969) is an American federal government official. In 2021, Wormuth became the 25th United States Secretary of the Army under Joe Biden. She was the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from 2014 to 2016 during the Barack Obama presidency. In April 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Wormuth to be the 25th United States Secretary of the Army. She was confirmed on May 26, 2021.[1][2]
