Chucky is an American horror comedy television series created by Don Mancini. It is the eighth main installment[a][1] of the Child's Play franchise. It is a sequel to Cult of Chucky (2017), the seventh movie in the franchise.
Cast
It stars Brad Dourif as the voice of the title character, alongside Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Teo Briones, and Devon Sawa. The cast also includes Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Jennifer Tilly, and Billy Boyd returning to their roles from previous movies.[2]
Plot
The series is about Chucky as he commits a series of mysterious murders in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Release
The series premiered on Syfy and the USA Network on October 12, 2021.[3][4] It has received generally positive reviews from critics.
In November 2021, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on October 5, 2022. In January 2023, the series was renewed for a third season,[5] which premiered on October 4, 2023, and was aired in two parts, with the second half premiering on April 10, 2024.[6][7]
