Clarkson University

Clarkson University is a four-year university in Potsdam, New York. It was created in 1896 in Memory of Thomas S. Clarkson. Clarkson allows students to pursue bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. As of 2025, Clarkson has the following schools and institutes: the David D. Reh School of Business, Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Earl R. and Barbara D. Lewis School of Health and Life Sciences, Institute for a Sustainable Environment, and Institute for STEM Education.

Clarkson has a mascot known as The Golden Knight, and the sports teams are known as the Golden Knights. The school colors for the university are green and gold.

It is known for its Business and Engineering majors.
