Danilo Ángel Astori Saragosa (April 23, 1940 – November 10, 2023) was a Uruguayan social democratic politician. He was Vice President of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015. He was the Minister of Economics and Finance from 2005 to 2008.[1]
Death
In October 2023, Astori was hospitalised with a fractured hip; he subsequently died of respiratory failure on 10 November 2023, at the age of 83.[2]
