David John Battley (5 November 1935 – 20 January 2003) was an British actor. He played Mr. Turkentine in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Battley died on 20 January 2003 from a heart attack brought on by his injuries in Epsom, Surrey, aged 67.[1]
