David L. Cohen (born 1955) is an American businessman, attorney and lobbyist. He was the United States Ambassador to Canada from 2021 until 2025. He was the senior advisor to the CEO of Comcast Corporation. Until January 1, 2020, he was senior executive vice president and chief lobbyist for Comcast.[2][3]

In July 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Cohen as the United States Ambassador to Canada.[4][5] Cohen was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in a voice vote on November 2, 2021.[6]
